Paul Matthews has been training at City WingTsun since 2005. At the age of sixty, Paul has become the oldest student to achieve the primary level technician at City WingTsun and one of the oldest in the world. When Paul first joined City WingTsun he was barely able to make it up the four flights of stairs to the school without being completely exhausted. Within a short time his stamina and conditioning had reached to the point where he had no problem training two hours with classmates half his age.

For his student level 12 test he successfully fought for five minutes non-stop against a constant stream of attackers trying to kick, punch and wrestle him to the floor. His performance was not just satisfactory, but outstanding. Paul’s hard work and dedication is a testament to the great benefits WingTsun has to offer those regardless of age or background.
