The Wing Tsun Long Pole Certification Course consists of two 2-hour classes. The first class is a thorough review covering theory, basics, the pole form, Chi Gwan, and Lat Gwan. The second class is the formal certification exam, which includes a written theory exam, evaluation of all basics, form assessment, Chi Gwan and application exams, and a target practice test requiring 8 out of 10 strikes to pass.
Upon successful completion, students receive the Long Pole Certification Course certificate. Any qualified Si-Fu level instructor holding this certificate is authorized to teach the Wing Tsun Long Pole in their own schools.
Students must have completed the full Long Pole program (all four segments) and hold a minimum rank of Student Level 9 with Si-Fu's permission before registering. Long poles are provided.
